Are you alright?
Yes I am ok.
Are you sure?

Do I look ok?
Just go away,
Do you think you have the cure?

Just walk that way
There's nothing you could say
I will not say it again

Yes I am ok.
Just go away
You'll never have my cure
I'm sure

One foot off the edge
Step off just to find a new ledge
This final leap
Just keeps turning into stepping stones

Breaking my back step by step
Mile for mile
This long walk has been on for awhile

So yes I'm alright
Because I know somehow, I last through the night

You my concerned friend, who worries about me to no end
Don't waste your time on me
I suggest you just leave me be

sometimes this is exactly how I feel

Please report poetry and or comments that are in breach of our site rules HERE (Please include poem title or url). Parents also please ensure that you supervise your children well when they are on the internet; regardless of what a site says about being, or being considered, child-safe.
