Devouring Thunder

Stand upon ground... as you watch it dissolve,
facing your fears... as they crush your resolve,
Climbing a peak... where no air is present,
holding your breath as you climb and descend it,
Icy winds blow... and rip you asunder,
dancing through lighting... avoiding the thunder,
All hope has forgotten... this place where you wander...
your turn upon fear... you will run no longer...
and when you do pause... lightning strikes home,
leaving you scarred, abused, and alone,
with a crash you do fall... it awakens a hunger...
you turn to face fate... and devour the thunder.

Now this is real! If there's one thing know, it's about being the last walking hope in the storm. Love this poem! |
