This Sting

Contributed by drogedarain on Monday, 19th March 2012 @ 08:02:52 PM in AEST
Topic: EmotionalPoetry

My heart is scorned, by this sting the universe has delivered to me,,,
I won’t give up even though I am drowning in this sea of torture,,,
Treading the water for what seems like an eternity,,,
Hoping this sting will soon end,,,
Growing weaker by the second, restrained by its veracious appetite,,,
Rock bottom is where it sent me, trouncing and flailing, imploring for a rope to be cast in,,,
Out of this obscurity, came a brilliant intense light, my rope had materialized in its midst,,,
I grasped it firmly, never to let go,,,
The universe has now delivered my release,,,
Your face appeared to me, as the sweetest dream in the night,,,
Your smile embraced my core, now you eternally my dear, I shall love, respect, cherish and adore forever more,,,

A beautifully written poem, your right we all feel lost without someone ,we all forget that we are never truly alone while we are here, but we are all much more entangled than we realise- one thing leads to another , like fate and another leads us to one, as we are all on the same journey but neglecting to look around the train and say hello to our equalls, lets hope we acknowledge each other when we get to our destination,--
