What Is A Trucker's Life?....
What is a trucker's life?
People think it’s adventurous.
But it’s actually filled with strife.
It's long sleepless hours on the road.
Going this way that way any way.
Hauling massive load after load.
It’s a dangerous and thankless job.
People want the stock they need it.
But every one treats you like a brainless knob!
Money must come in so the wheels have to roll.
You get pushed and driven like a machine.
No one gives a damn about your soul.
Then comes the hard part.
Your family or should I say what family?
You're never there so they think you’re a fart.
Who, tell me who can blame them?
What do they have of you?
Do you think the pay cheque would tame them?
Then there's the wife!
You're never home I never see you.
Do you think this for her is an easy life?
No absolutely no my friend.
To handle what you've read and that just the half of it.
You need to be strong or it will drive you round the bend.

The life you describe is indeed strenuous. It's beautifully put in words, though, that appeal to the reader. The rhymes have been used very effectively.
Keep writing
