GO MAKE SOME APPLE PIE

Go make some apple pie my friend.
Go make some apple pie.
Doesn’t matter what other folks try
Go make some apple pie.

Go cook a pot of fresh beef stew.
Go cook a pot of stew.
Doesn’t matter what other folks do
Go make a pot of stew.

Go pick some corn out in the field.
Go pick a bushel of corn.
Don’t mind who does the shucking,
Go pick a bushel of corn.

Get the butter out for your cornbread.
Get the butter for your cornbread.
It’s almost time to get folks fed.
Get the butter for your cornbread.

Ring the dinner bell out loud.
Go ring the dinner bell loud.
Count the heads as they fly by.
Ring the dinner bell out loud.

Put whipping cream on the apple pie.
Put whipped cream on the pie.
Watch the faces light up then,
And see the twinkle in every eye.

Moral: You must feed em to lead em!
