Gaileys' light

And she came just like a dream
Into my deepest night
And there did she abide
To give unto me light
To find within me buried
Where the shadows only show
To find for me a path
For should I want to go
For here beyond my reason
To near my sanities edge
I stand before a foundling
Like a blind man on a ledge
With faith my only guide
As I seek to know the way
To search still yet tomorrow
for hope beyond today
