THERE IS A PLACE I WANT TO BE

there is a lonely tombstone in my backyard
it is that of a child, why is life so hard?
i go to see it on the most ramdom of days
i examine it's beauty under shining rays
i lay down next to it, to comfort the little one
i mourn for the soul there, who's time here is done
an instrument used to pay homage to something dear
but why in this spot? why is it here?
maybe mine is not to ask such things
but just to keep it safe, and bring offerings
believe me, it is something to see
under moonlight it glows brilliantly
it doesn't threaten, but it makes me feel sad
a nearby tree is the only friend it has had
i need to go now, there is a place i want to be
it is in my backyard, that's where you'll find me...
