Touched by a hand floating throughout time,
a small gentle voice that whispers in the ear,
grasping at straws while searching for the needle,
questioning what it was that brought those tears,
a simple thought... causing intense curiosity,
while the mind aches for the answer,
hope and longing brought to bear in angst,
while many see not the mystery behind a simple banter,
it is everywhere in our lives... it hangs suspended in the air,
yet still we seek it in every thriller, every cautious moment we are scheming,
and still the answers elude us, begging us to continue,
and so we ride an avalanche and try to discern its meaning.
