Chopped off

With spring upon us
I have chopped off my hairy chops
My face fluffiness
My winter cheek muffs
They kept me from cold chills
But I looked like a wookie

When growing all where surprised
Look at those hairy sides
But I chopped them off, to their surprise
No one noticed my smooth sides

Attention in sarcasm was rife
But when gone no one noticed
Criticism for different
Oblivious to the norm
Chopped off face fuzz will be back on those cold October morns

i really enjoyed that, my kinda style, very simple, but entertaining and enjoyable to read.
