hello old book, hello old friend
it looks like it's you and i
it looks like we meet again
i pick you out, i dust you off
i blow the marks of time away
i sit right down, i open you up
i notice you have begun to fray
you've been there for me
i've counted on you
i've read from your pages
read all of them through
your stories are sad
and some may delight
your stories bring warmth
on a cold and dark night
hello old book, hello old friend
it looks like it's you and i
it looks like we're near the end...

Yes I like it . Although it tells a story of being alone and that is so sad. Good write.
