I dream of a life where I do not sleep

I dream of a life where I do not sleep,
And lose myself among shallow deep.
To see the silence, hear the mist,
To see time slow upon my wrist.
No sound or life, just sullen peace
Where maddened thoughts will be released.

Interesting and well-rhymed.
In my case, it's sometimes the maddened thoughts and ruminating that keep me awake. I like that phrase, by the way "maddened thoughts". Nicely put! |
