Though others stand beside him,
He now feels all alone.
While the organist is playing
The traditional wedding song.
A lump is growing in his throat
As he focuses on the isle.
And then a gasp as she appears
In her radiant gown and smile.
She’s just about to take the step
That places her by his side.
She does not notice tears have crept
Or the whispers “what a beautiful bride.”
The minister asks a question.
Says her father, “her mother and I.”
But she now is only focused
On the man she stands beside.
For a couple moments longer,
With flowers in her hair,
They are still two seperate people,
And are standing as him and her.
The lovely part of these two hearts,
As their love shines like the sun,
Is they arrived as two different people.
But they leave there together as One!
This is also a picture of the Church,
When He comes for us someday.
When He shouts “Come Up Hither,”
On our Resurrection Wedding Day!

No words to describe... I just really felt this one with passion as I read and it overflowed from my screen.
Very enticing write,
