Hear ye, hear ye, buzz buzz buzz.
If you have antennae, or a little fuzz.
Flap your wings, and come to my dance,
Let’s start a little ugly bug romance.
For the creepy crawlies it’s time to shine.
Let’s cut some rug, bedbugs will do fine.
For the caterpillar without fifty pairs of shoes,
A sock hop is fine if we can count on you.
The itsy bitsy spider will be arriving late,
She lowers from the ceiling for her ugly bug dates.
Jiminy Cricket will show up here stag,
Bringing fried mosquitos in his brown bug bag.
Please come to the hollow tree
By the river along the path,
Where fireflies will light your way
And glow worms take steam baths.
Stick bugs will come to the party
But no one will see them there.
They are so well camouflaged,
And they’re bald with little hair.
Skip, skip, skip to my Lou,
The night sounds music is awesome too.
Most of these critters are working late,
Before the dance is over they will eat their mate.
