Spoken Silence
Hearts to hearts, heads to only heads,
Fear to fear, pain without sence.
Unfold, unlove, unheard, untouched,
Heads trying to grasp, the hearts begrudged.
But my mind can never fathom,
What my heart cannot voice.
And my heart cannot explain,
Its silence is no choice.
So until my heart can learn,
The language of my mind
I'm forced to live confused,
While the truth is left behind.
But if someone cares to listen,
It's sworn it can be heard.
The tale of spoken silence,
In a simple little verse.
But for now I remain quiet,
Until someone makes the choice,
To take the time and listen,
As we unfold my hearts true voice.
