Blinded by desire and imagined worth, my flesh is
occupied by abhorrence and mar.
Going through motions just to get through each day..
Wishing your love could take it all away.
Why must I feel like your puppet on tattered strings?
I want to grow old with you and burgeon striking wings.
I know in my heart this was not a meager fling.
You opened up my heart and prepared it to feel once more.
Blinded by desire and imagined worth, I felt for sure your love was my cure.
