The Fire

When I come back home from school,
I sit beside the fire.
And if I'm feeling really cool,
I turn the thing up higher!

Trouble is, I don't look out,
And mum says "Watch it, son",
And then I give a mighty SHOUT,
Because I've burnt my bum!
