She was the first to hold my heart in the palm of her hand
We were two children walking hand in hand
Wishing upon stars under a pale full moon
Somewhere in a place a life time ago that belonged to just she and I
Her lips were the first to touch mine
The flavor of that moment still resides on my tongue
Changing my life forever
She taught me the lessons of love one kiss at a time
As our dreams unfolded while in one another's arms
She was the first to trust me with her desires
The fragrance of her innocents sent ny mind reeling and set my blood on fire
As we explored the fullness of our love day by day in a place called wonderful
She was the first to break my heart
Never sharing her secret keeping me in the dark
I remember spending that summer feeling empty and alone my humiliation complete for all to see
As she walked away hand in hand with someone other than me.

I have to say, we all feel that way about the first person we got into a relationship with, and about that last line... sounds like she broke your heart for someone else? That's a really bad feeling. But love hurts. It's true and it sucks too.
