The Road to God

Contributed by bmjones0555 on Saturday, 18th February 2012 @ 02:39:08 PM in AEST
Topic: ChristianPoetry

The blind cannot see
Cannot see their children grow
But the blind can see the path of faith
Gods path made of riches and gold

The death cannot hear
Cant hear the commotion thats around
But the death can hear the words of God
Words that come high above the ground

The speechless cannot speak
Cannot speak to the ones they love
But the speechless can talk through their souls
To our father up above

The crippled cannot walk
They roll to where they want to go
But one day they will walk with God side by side
With no pain from head to toe

Sinners hate with grief
Forgetting the path of faith
Sinners can be saved from God
With a thick coat of love and grace

There is a bright side to everything
Open your soul and you will see
God is the answer to every problem
Reach to him and earn your wings

Though I don't truly agree with the message of the poem, I have to give you props for a good poem all the same. To each man/woman their own belief, and one way or another they will follow their own road whither it be goaled towards their god or a justful end. Good poem
hope to read more soon
