Today is one I’ve waited for, as I readied my machine.
I put in dual transmissions, the meanest ever seen.
I kicked it into overdrive and pushed the starter quick.
At first I thought it didn’t start, till I saw the palace brick.
I entered through an archway, no one noticed me,
Hiding behind a pillar, looking to see what I could see.
A King was sitting on a throne with a thousand subjects there,
Who had rebelled against their ruler, now their backs were bare.
The whips were raised into the air when the King yelled out to “stop!”
He stepped down from His throne, tossing his crown down with a flop.
He tore his robes and kneeled down, and said “let My people go.”
Now give Me all their punishment, and His blood began to flow.
The subjects left there crying even though they’d been redeemed.
No other man would have paid the price paid by their dear King.
The King loved all His subjects, even those who went astray.
He was to them a trusted Father, and still loves them to this day.
Amazing love I witnessed, that simply cannot be denied.
For had this never taken place those subjects would have died.
This story has been written as it’s covered up by the enemy.
I shall write it in my journal for all the world to see.
The subjects were all guilty and would admit that is the truth.
It mattered not if aged, and those who still were in their youth.
The King now sits back on His throne and wears a golden crown.
Tears of shame were wiped away, as all knees were bended down!
My very next journey shall take me to a place I know not yet,
But of all of my experiences, this is one I won’t forget.
For love can never be true love, no matter how much you give,
If you are not ready to give your life so another soul may live.
