Fringe

Contributed by dvtpdw on Friday, 17th February 2012 @ 05:16:24 PM in AEST
Topic: selfstruggles

On the outside, looking in
Always sitting on the fringe
Never seeming to find my way
Ears deaf to what I say

Lot of different kinds of dreams
Hard to life they are to bring
Flitting like a little butterfly
From ground to star to sky

Dreams that carry what I wish
Ideas through my mind swish
Hard to pick a path of great
Only have one life to create

For each, there is someone better
Why can't I do them all together
Do I have to be just one passion
Pushing for multiple reactions

It was cold out on the edge
From that seat, growth is pledged
Into the inner circle, glorious warmth
Losing insecurities, bravely gone forth

Mine might not be good enough
Critics can make the process rough
Might not fit into the norm for you
Look out world; I've got work to do

There is no rule limiting my path
No matter if I incur life's wrath
I can go from site to path to roof
I am here, my life is my proof

Great flow. I noticed this is under self struggling but there still seems to be positive factors and a show of strength in the words written.

Especially like this line:

There is no rule limiting my path
No matter if I incur life's wrath
There is strength and conviction in that!

Thank you,

Tim
