She walked over to me,
I had never seen her face, but somehow I recognised those eyes.
I can't say I wasn't nervous,
I was completely terrified, something about how she looked at me.
She was absolutely beautiful,
I was staring at life without flaws, life without any pain or tears.
I heard her whisper softly,
at first I couldn't understand, but the longer I listened the more I actually heard.
She was telling me about herself,
about who she was and what she was, why she felt the way she did.
Somehow I felt every word,
everything I thought, she knew, and I realized what she was.
She was me,
the answer I had been searching for, the hope I had been holding on to.

That happened to me many years ago. Due to the realities of life all we share now is love across distant miles. Well phrased and something I can really feel inside. Good job. |
