Life has its fill of twists and turns
one minute you're strong and the next minute your burned
An endless cycle of drama and peace
the weight of it all makes us fall to our knees
Holding us still, Keeping us down
around this all our lives are bound
Unable to look for more from above
Is usually when we get hit by a thing called love
For me however there was no exception
Your loving presence had changed my perception
of things that others had thought of as truth
You came into my life, showing they had no proof
Erasing my fears and Rewriting my strengths
Raising my confidence to unprecedented lengths
Holding me close when it all looked bleak
I realize now it was you in which I seeked
For to me my love you are beyond compare
The only one of your kind of this I swear
The one in which that holds my heart
I tell you now I hope to never part
For you are with me in dreams and thru the solace of sleep
My reason at night for when I don't make a peep
My maiden, my love of which I am lucky..
