I am the wind that whistles through the trees, sends chills down your spine and leaves you weak at your knees.
I am the voice that you hear in your head, no-one else has ever heard a word I have said.
I am the sickness you feel in your gut, when the panic sets in and u keep your eyes shut.
I am the shadow that lurks in the night but I won't go away even when it gets light.
I am that touch that you will never feel, as I brush through your hair to let you know i am real.
I am the fear you feel when alone, your right to be afraid your not on your own.
I am the darkness that consumes your soul and I will never allow you to acheive any goal.
I am the tension that keeps you awake, I get in your head and let you know your every mistake.
I am the demon that you will never see but wherever you are when you feel scared that will be me!

I am the fear that keeps you alive,
when i come out, the brave run and hide.
lol very nice! i wrote a few like this a while back. I like that its from the perspective of fear. |

Your poem does give of an certain kind of fear while at the same time makes you anticipate one thing in which it is something completely else. Nice poem!
