There was a man named Newton,
Who lived on the isle of Fig.
He loved to make cookies,
So this is all that he did.
He’d stuff the dough with fresh fruit,
Gathered from where he lived.
One day in boredom he gathered,
A whole bunch of ugly figs.
As a joke he stuffed some cookies,
With fruit tasting a lot like prunes.
Then he snuck into homes of his neighbors,
And left cookies in baskets in rooms.
He watched as they bit into cookies,
Expecting some frowns on each face.
Instead of a joke on his neighbors,
Cookies got dunked in milk in each place.
There once was a man named Oreo,
Ohhhhh, never mind!
