SAVE OUR EARTH

Look up and proclaim what you see
Isn’t it the sun, moon and stars at peace?
What do you feel around you?
Isn’t it air blowing around which happens to be the clue?

Make it known upon waking up in the morning
Isn’t it birds happily singing?
So tell me why do we hurt all these?
Why couldn’t we be at peace?
Instead we destroy them with ease

When will we respect mother earth
From the first to the last of our birth
Why do we keep inflicting wounds,
from the rivers down to the woods.
and from the mountains straight to the valleys.

Let’s pause for a minute
And ponder over it
Ruminate about the destination of our earth
Where is it heading towards?
Is it moving frontward or backwards?

Oh! Forgive us earth, our transgressions
For destroying you with passion!
And unto us, Let nature always be first
So it could give out all its best
Let our good thoughts favor mother earth
to an extreme length.

Our world is such a beautiful place, yet people treat it with no respect and in the end it is us who are going to be paying the price. Thank you for the reminder to cherish the beauty that is all around us.

While every care is taken to ensure the general sites content is family safe, our moderators cannot be in all places; all the time.
