I AM THE MAN, THE BOSS!

I am the man, I am the boss.
There is no need to shout it.
Men have the muscle and the brains,
And are more cunning with their wit!

When I was married four decades ago,
It was important knowing who was boss.
She’s never had to think twice.
My words weren’t on her lost.

When I vacuum the carpet,
I always do it my own way.
As I iron the laundry,
I block out what she has to say.

I fold our clothes the Army way,
It was fine for Uncle Sam.
I learned to do dishes on K P,
So what is her gripe with me?

I am the man, I am the boss.
There is no need to shout it.
Men have the muscle and the brains,
And often times we may flout it!
