A bleeding heart.
A beating heart.
A heart that once was cold.
A healing heart.
A heart so warm,
But a heart not made of gold.
Who would care for something so broken?
So worn out?
So full of scars?
I know of one and only one,
Who would,
Without adding marks.
He is the one who's heart matches mine,
As a reflection would.
He is the one I wish to call mine,
'til after death if I could.
