Words Never Mean Anything

Contributed by lcan1995 on Tuesday, 31st January 2012 @ 07:15:13 PM in AEST
Topic: LoveRemembered

Sometimes actions speak louder then words they say,
The words never meant anything after all.
You'll never know just exactly how I feel.
Every night all alone,
Trying to tell myself it's no big deal,
But was, it crushed me.
Now I'm always by the phone.
Waiting for a call that will never get here.
Close my eyes for a little while, feel a single tear,
It will fall just like I did when this ended,
It hurt so bad,
Felt like my heart was all twisted and bended.
Find myself staying up half the night listening to the songs,
The songs never left my head like the memories of me and you together, seemed like forever, hopefully it will all get better.
All the fighting, screaming, and yelling over and done.

Sometimes words don't last forever, the three main words I talk about are "I love you". Which was obviously a lie now, and the lies that they all tell you, I'll be here whenever you need me. They'll never be their when you need them most. The list of words goes on and on about the lies everyone will tell. Though there is still people out there who are going to stick by there word... Very few people.

Poetry is much like a great photo, a single "moment in time" capturing many feelings and emotions. Yet, they are very alive; creating stirrings within the readers who form visual "pictures" of the expressed emotions within the Poem. ©
