Sometimes Words Is All We Got.

Topic: oops

I keep looking at the seeds we sow.
The fields are empty, no water for the crops.
Those who stand in freedoms way,
have gotten drunk on new wine and confiscated pot.

Waving flags and emblems of peace unfurled.
Pulling the curtains back to see endless wars.
Politicians just corporate shews.
Taking money as inflation soars.
Being the tipping balance as saboteurs.

If we gathered to make some real change.
Went out together united and bright.
Pushing the cages and shaking foundations.
Will we come out to everything is alright.
Can this world turn around and harvest some light.

I know action speaks louder then words.
In this war thou sometimes words is all we got.
We can stand amongst the herds.
Or join together to be the flame that is sought.
United together to defeat this rot.

The serpent of fear has lost its tail.
Chasing shadows in endless fright.
People building fences to keep out their neighbours.
Building more walls to turn out the light.
Skyscrappers blocking views to show that everythings alright.

Will we turn things around and climb for new heights.
Create new heavens that shine out so bright
Changing ways for a brand new day.
I feel together everything will be alright.
Together we can make things right.
United to become a new light.
