My heart is an ugly Organ

Take this torturous, painful organ from me,
I want to rip it out and bury it in the depths from which it comes,
Send it back to its place so it can no longer pester me,
Oh how it laughs at my agony, the flow of life its main task,
But I do not want it, go away is all I ask.
It beats within me a rhythm of lonely pain,
It aches within my chest reminding me of a love I cannot have.
Its constantly beating,
Constantly reminding,
Never ending,
Over and over,
Echoing the undeniable truth of what will never be.
I beg take this ugly organ from me,
Give me a new one that knows no such pain,
That will pump life into my veins, instead of all this torture.
I do not want what was created for me,
Take it and cast it into the sea made of my tears,
Let it sink, let it no longer be.
This organ that never skips a beat,
Or the chance to hurt me so badly,
Completely floors me from my seat,
Id take a hole in the head gladly.
Why should it be so evil, how could it be?
What have I done other then to strengthen it?
Build it up, nourish as my very spirit,
Take this ugly organ, I beg, take it from me.
