Sun shines at the foot of the path,
The trees motionless, rocks and pebbles in the flat,
Colors have vanished, calmness and silence surrounds,
Cascading boulders and trickling streams between the cracks underground.
A cold dark front moves up over the mountain,
Mist smothers the sky, an endless fountain,
A gentle cool breeze, the leaves patter and glisten,
An occasional gust roars, sounds of river rapids in the distance.
