SENT TO ME!

May I praise my sweetheart often.
Let me cherish her all my days.
Help me show her she’s my treasure,
In every conceivable way!
How my Lord when she was choosing,
Did she ever foresee a day,
When wanting to know me better,
She decided with me she’d stay?
A woman’s love cannot be measured,
Or the things hidden in her heart,
By a simple man as you know I am,
For our worlds seem so far apart.
But I step behind and marvel
At the mysterious ways of my girl.
And know that she was sent to me
From a heavenly joyous world.
Simple treasures of gold and diamonds,
By themselves may be nice to own.
But they can’t keep you warm at night
Or turn your palace into a home!
I humbly bow and thank You Lord,
For the true treasure you helped me find.
I am certain that She was sent to me,
From Your loving heart and mind!
