And I've Never Trusted Time

Contributed by lostrelic on Saturday, 28th January 2012 @ 03:36:47 AM in AEST
Topic: oops

To wash away this winter day, amongst the fields of soft decay.
Cloudy storms will come and go as waves from distant beaches sow.
Splendor in the summer sight, a crisp breeze of peer delight.
Spreading seeds through out in the night, as winter winds howl here tonight,

Dreams seem to fade away as harshest truth are called my way.
A gentle knock becomes a fist, as worlds collide without a miss.
I hide my head in shear fright, deeming things must not be right.
A faded spark within my heart I seek the dark and all its brought,

A gentle voice is all you see, this time is of such sweet misery.
A thimble left me on the floor, my bearing has been lost some more.
Compass on north.

Feels like south as winds howl from my window sill.
Reminding me that contracts been signed.
That plays must go on.

Will I con the ultimate con?
Can I deceive my soul back from one who deceives?
Will I still be able to hold my head high when that times comes to meet my solom doom?
Time can only tell, and I've never trusted time.
It's a mistress that only takes.

I like that "a gentle knock becomes a fist". I like the way this reads and the images. Not exactly sure what it all means but it definitely kept this ADHD mind interested. Thanks.
