White Swallows
Girls with morning in their eyes
match the foolish with the wise
As their slim bodies break
the burning in the thighs
white swallows dip and cry
making love on wing
vanishing down the brown roofs
weeping as they sing
(1972)

This is brilliant. Although short, the message is deeply conveyed. Thank you for sharing. |
