Lifepoems

Translucent streets aglow with eyes,
Complete with paint splatters and multicolored dyes,
They say you get no more tries,
And when it’s all done your soul flies,
Towards some higher being who rules,
Whole communities of people, and some fools,
That use religion just like the tools,
In their garage or like thread spun on spools,
In some brightly lit sewing room,
They are oblivious to the doom,
Which gently lurking, will loom,
And gracefully engrave their tomb.
