As I lay here and think,
As if summoned by a shrink,
Your face comes to mind,
The most beautiful thing of any kind,
As I lay here and think.
As I lay here and think,
Bringing my brain to an internal brink,
My heart begins to yearn,
Remembering a love that forever burns,
As I lay here and think.
Thinking as I lay,
Brings my mind to a special day,
July twenty first marks the spot,
I find my love like a skittle sky lit pot,
In my arms she lies,
This love will Never die,
If I let her leave from my arms now,
When time reached eternity I will never know how,
As I lay here and think.
A life is worthless,
If without a girl who never said yes,
To make life the best,
Courage within must open the chest,
Upon a shrunken stature,
The end result is to catch her,
For if she says yes,
You alone is worth less.
