I lay awake at night
and I think
about
what what you are doing right now,
shooting stars streak across the sky
and all I wish for
is to have you around.
I close my eyes and I dream
you are in my arms
and we kiss tenderly,
as I fall to sleep
I try
not to cry
as I think of how I need you here with me.
