Look beneath the wrinkled skin
For there's a mine of information within
The school of life has taught me well
So many things I could tell
Stories of love, sometimes pain
From each of these so much to gain
The gift of life is such a treasure
Joys unfold too many to measure
The wonders of growing old
So many things I'd not been told
Amazement of meeting someone knew
Experiences exchanged, new things to do
God moves in mysterious ways
I was told in my young days
I realize now this is true
Given time it will happen to you
