WHAT A DAY

You sent rain as sleep came
To wash all sorrows away.
In twilight you watched over me.
Rest prepared this life
For pain ahead.
In love you watch us.
What a day!
You chased them buggers
On their way.
Strength came as you marked
Your ground for God's kingdom
To abound.
Anger now turns to joy
As your love employs.
Chain Satan, he's just a bother.
Give us life without dread.
