Bloodstained leaves trickle from trees;
wounded parchment vessels smearing northern breath.
Thunderheads whip a colorless sky
while the somnolent sun surrenders
to a graveyard of rotting tombs.
This season is a fertile crypt.

Hi again,
You are a talented lady. I love the
contradiction in words ''fertile crypt'' - yet it
describes the setting perfectly.
Will be checking your page regularly from now
on.

Packs a lot of great imagery into a small space.
Wonderful use of words.

Thanks,
Tim
