Grief

Her life was a wound that never healed
her delicate smile quivered
her wrinkly face was just like a tissue
that never soaked up the tears
His shadow hangs in every corner
his guant face in shattered glass
A man jumps out in the darkest dreams
a figure not welcomed from the past
whispers tug and bat at her pleads
but her fragile ways are solid
A glorius life that once was
is now a lone horse in a forest
She's now to old to keep running
to sit and await her fate
An argument that turned deadly
forces a murderous women to weep.
