Why Can't We See the Beauty in Nature?

Why don't people see the beauty
In the world?
If only stopped
And looked around at this
Exquisite wirld would
We find the ancient wisdom
In the trees or just timber
To make a profit.
If we took the time
To notice the rivers
Would we see its sweet serenity
Or somewhere to dump our toxic waste
When we look at the mountains
Do we see thier powerful majesty
Or just another place to mine for precious metals
And gems?

No we would not see this beauty
For we have destoryed this world's purest beauty
Its innocence
