What is this thing the Change of Life
That leaves no desire to be a wife
Churns up feelings of wanting to be free
Free as the birds,wind and sea
Emotions appear never felt before
Wanting to be alone more and more
Time which is spent deep in thought
Not wanting to be disturbed, making others fraught
Decisions to make
A lot of heartache
This thing the change of life

| Nicely crafted, good rhythm and rhyme structure. The message is very universal. Sometimes life just cages us in and we want to break out of those chains so badly tearing down a few walls seems like a good idea. This is a strong write. Nicely done. tfs |
