If ever I should fall upon your feet again
Please be aware that I am only feeling week again
I haven't the slightest notion of loving you this time
Yes, I have faltered once again, but only for the night

You may sense the desparation that flows within my veins
And press through my resistance to batter me again
And on your chest I lay - reminded of your bitter heart
But I will not be chained and bound to stay and fall apart
