the road we will travel

we dont know where we will be
what road will we travel
I wish I could see
how it finally will unravel

i will fight for our future
for our lives to be intertwined
we were meant to be together
this is a truth you will find

the road we travel
will have many bumps
but if we are in it together
yes we will have our share of lumps

if this is a dream we wish to achieve
lets stand side by side
and we must really believe
come to me
my arms are open wide

i know the road seems far off in the distance
at times getting there
there will be resistance

in order to get to our destination
we must be in this together
and together we could fight any weather

so hand in hand
lets go along
and get to to our road
and when we get there fireworks will explode

i made a commitment to you
which I intend to keep
forever and always
even in my sleep

this journey will be slow
but as we both know
wonderful things come to those who wait
and when we get to the road
our life will be great

Now this journey is slow with a start
but you know I love you very much
love your sweetheart
