Farewell
Five times a week, I see thee
Strangers with a common strand
We like the same shows
Which we recap whenever we meet
Excited for the next episode
For which we prepare each week
I’ll miss our banter, our chats
Our this, our that’s
We are on different paths
But a friendship has grown
Who shall I talk to, when you have gone?
At least you can follow me online
I write all the time
Every week a poem or two
I wrote this one for you
Good luck and farewell to you, my friend
Happy retirement, this is not the end

A very sweet and thoughtful
goodbye to a deserving friend.
I know he enjoyed this. I hope
you told him that as a retired
judge, he is Guilty As Charged!
Blessings,
Robert Edgar Burns (Rob)
