Look with your eyes, and tell me no lies,
For it is a man in disguise, for he is wise,
Who never cries, and for the ties to your world,
Subside.
He will be the one, whom tried and tried,
But the tide took her away, into the bay,
As he took in stride, but she drifted away
For he was the man she strayed from, in forever hasn’t come
The boy who watched her play, could never,
Would never!
But alas this girl…no! Young woman always smiled,
And avoided his gaze, his smile faded and,
Corroded on his face, left some scars,
To this day.
And till today, she is his world, his praise,
His messiah, the Buddha of them all,
Kept him tranquil, and in solace,
For every woman was not the same,
Because she was the one that got away,
As he faded into the black, and she lifted from the pages,
Shape shifted into a marvelous crane, and took to the sky,
He was never the same, for she was truly,
His being…his curse…his other half,
But he let her walk away, with her fingers intertwine,
With those who was not his, so he could see that smile,
Once again.
The pain of it was more than he could handle, from
Dagger to hilt, it seethed into his torso, for,
His ichors spilled out of his open chest,
There he lay in waste; the pain was neighboring with him in wallow,
For it turned him hallow, simply his heart was only his,
And for no one to claim it.
Sadly, it was locked away, and the man,
Was left dead, for he has to bare the devil’s bloodshed,
And what of the woman that he could never have,
She lived in happiness bliss, never to realize his death,
Because that was his only wish; never to shatter,
Her oblivion.
