I'm sitting back listening to the music you put in my heart, hearing the beatings as it pumps.
I've waited over 3 years to be with you. I asked every chance I had. Now you said lets take it slow, and so we did, my heart lifting every day that I know I'm breaking the cold shell around you that you put up after so many put you down. You say you're always cold, but I'm always warm. Let me be your fire and you be my ice. Cool me down when flare up, as I warm you when your heart grows cold. You asked how my parents would think if they knew, I told. You said "I will prove them wrong." Our interests are off but our love isn't. We took it slow, but still went to fast and you let go. You were my Ice and I was your Fire...
