JIMMY LOVES CRACKERS!

Little Jimmy sure likes crackers,
That’s all I ever saw him eat.
We would offer him cake or cookies,
He refused that along with meat.

The minister was giving the blessing,
At a picnic right after church.
“Give us this day our daily bread”
Were the words that Jimmy heard.

“Pastor, Pastor, can I interrupt you?”
The Pastor said “Go ahead!”
Could you ask the Lord for crackers,
Cause I’m not that fond of bread?”

“Give us Lord our daily crackers,”
Was inserted in their prayers forever more,
For little Jimmy put his faith in God,
And taught a lesson to all both rich and poor.
