Writing a eulogy for a dream I didn't want to kill
and I wish I had chammomile tea
and a sweater
I wish I had a soft flower
a dark chocolate
or a glint in my eye
I only have apologies
some disgusting recognitions
that I dread choking down
you see
it really is destined for failure
so we should give up before we begin
I am the course
the natural course leading to disaster
you would be better off without me
I ruin all that I touch
I taint every clean thing with hatred
I'm sorry, you see
I'm sorry I ever let you believe I was delicate
or sweet
The end.
